Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require 24 hours notice in order to reallocate your appointment to another client. Failure to give the required notice may result in your being charged a cancellation fee. If you fail to attend an appointment without giving due notice, we may charge a Cancellation Fee of £30 and require you to pay for all future treatments in advance. Clients who have pre-purchased a course of treatment may forfeit one of the treatments.

Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment. The Laser Clinic will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to time; however, for reasons beyond our control, we may need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice. In this unlikely event, we will make every effort to contact you in advance. We do not offer compensation if we cancel your appointment.

Prior to your appointment we will inform you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged.

Credit/debit card details are sometimes taken in order to secure appointments. No fee will be charged to this card unless you fail to attend your appointment or cancel it with less than 24 hours’ notice. Under these circumstances, we will make a charge of £30.

Competition Policy

The Laser Clinic reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition, special offers or deals and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes will be notified to all via this website as soon as possible.

The Laser Clinic’s employees or their close family members shall not be permitted to enter any competitions.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Each competition will be subject to its own rules and will be easily available either via this website or hard copy (subject to request) attainable from the clinic.

No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered.

The prizes are not transferable, unless specifically stated in writing as part of the promotion.

Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Competition winners will be notified by email and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

Each Competition prize will be subject to it’s own time frame which will be stated clearly in its description.

All competitions and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Any competition winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Any competition winner’s first name will be announced via our website ‘news’ page and will also be available up to 28 days after closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: 33a High Street, Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN4 7AF.

Entry into any competition run by The Laser Clinic will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Gift Vouchers Terms and Conditions.

Please note that The Laser Clinic can only treat people over 18 years old.

Gift Voucher can only be used by people over 18 years old.

All our usual terms and conditions and policies apply to Gift Vouchers. These terms and conditions will also apply to the purchase and redemption of our Gift Vouchers available at swindonlaserclinic.co.uk (‘Website’) & our Premises (‘The Laser Clinic’).

  1. The use of gift vouchers is solely for Treatments provided directly by the Laser Clinic as listed below.

    • Mole removal. (ACP)
    • Skin tag removal. (ACP)

    • * Signifies that a  Patch test is required before any treatment.
      (IPL) Intense Pulsed Light.
      (APC) Advance Cosmetic Procedure.
  2. Gift vouchers can NOT be used for 3rd Party or Visiting Clinicians Treatments such as;
    • BOTOX™ Anti-Wrinkle Injections.
    • Dermal Fillers including Belotero.
    • Hyperhidrosis
    • Podiatry / Chiropody.
    • Semi-Permanent Makeup.
    • UltraSlim Treatment
    • Any other treatment not provided directly by The Laser Clinic.
  3. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  4. Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months from date of issue.
    • Gift vouchers maybe extended at the discretion of The Laser Clinic, and only if still valid when the extension is requested.
  5. Gift vouchers must show the unique number clearly, and unaltered. All Gift vouchers details must match the details recorded at the time of Purchase.
    • The Laser Clinic will have the final say should any discrepancies be apparent.
  6. We are not responsible if a Gift vouchers is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
  7. In order to use a Gift voucher, the recipient must agree to register with us and accept our Terms and Conditions.
  8. Should a Patch Test be required before treatment commences, the Gift Voucher can be used in Full or Part Payment for the test.
  9. If at consultation, the user is not suitable for the specific treatment requested, the voucher can go towards any other suitable treatment, as listed in these T & C’s
    • Should the recipient be unsuitable for any treatment, the laser clinic will at its sole discretion, offer a new replacement Gift Voucher for any remaining balance. thus allowing the recipient to re-gift to another person of their choice.
  10. Gift Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any special offers or promotions (including gifts with purchase and discounts) unless specified in the said offer or promotion.
  11. If a treatment cost is less than the Gift Voucher amount, monies owing will be refunded as a Gift voucher.

Full Terms and Conditions

Set out below are the terms on which The Laser Clinic provides services to its clients.

Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatment.

1. Appointments and Cancellations

We will notify you with the time and date of your treatment appointment. On receipt of this notification, please confirm your attendance with the clinic. Failure to do so may result in reallocation of the appointment time to another client. All nurses and aestheticians at The Laser Clinic are trained and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment protocols and therefore in the interests of clinical audit, The Laser Clinic does not guarantee continued treatment with the same practitioner.

2. Credit Card Details, Deposits and Payments

Credit/debit card details are sometimes taken in respect of consultation and pre-assessment bookings in order to secure the appointment. No fee will be charged to this card unless you fail to attend your appointment or cancel it with less than 24 hours’ notice. Under these circumstances, we will make a charge of £30.

Some test patches and follow-up appointments are chargeable, but these charges will be made in the clinic on the appointment day.

If you have paid for a course of treatments and are subsequently unable to complete the course, we will offer you the equivalent value in other treatments at the discretion of the management. Refunds are not given.

3. Courses of Treatments

All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full on the day of the first treatment. All treatments must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 12 months will be forfeited.

4. Treatment Suitability

We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. If not, we will inform you as to the reasons why. If you are not suitable for treatment, no fee is payable.

5. Liability

The Laser Clinic will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide The Laser Clinic with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. The Laser Clinic will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, The Laser Clinic regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit The Laser Clinic‘s liability for death or any personal injury resulting from The Laser Clinic‘s negligence.

7. Your Right to Complain

We endeavours to treat all our clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If, however, you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment at The Laser Clinic, you are entitled to lodge a complaint, either verbally, by telephone or in writing.

If you require assistance with making your complaint, we will be pleased to help.

The member of staff who initially receives the complaint will convey the details to the Clinic Manager or their designated deputy, and you will receive a letter within two days of lodging the complaint that an investigation into the matter is under way.

During the course of the investigation, we may require you to attend an additional consultation with the practitioner involved in your treatment, if this is deemed appropriate. If you are not satisfied with this initial attempt at resolution, or have any objection to being seen by this practitioner, the clinic Manager will review your case.
